What is the StreetScape Project?

The Streetscape Project will improve an area in downtown Red Bank, NJ known as English Plaza and White Street. The essence of the streetscape will create a pedestrian boulevard from Riverside Gardens Park on West Front Street through to Monmouth Street.

When completed, all users–pedestrians, bicyclists, and drivers–will have improved safety, new sidewalks and lighting, additional parking spots, and an aesthetically pleasing area to access businesses, shops and restaurants.

Update: June 24

Today, curbs were formed and conduit was placed in English Plaza. Tomorrow, June 25, paver installation will continue and concrete curbs will be poured. White Street will be open to vehicles and pedestrians.

Today, Thursday, June 20, pavers were installed in English Plaza. Tomorrow, Friday, June 21, the installation of pavers will continue in English Plaza. White Street will be open to vehicles and pedestrians.
